Buzuluk grain dryer fire repeats after three years

On January 21 around midnight, a seed dryer building caught fire in Buzuluk. Nine tanker trucks immediately headed to the scene (from the regional EMERCOM – the Ministry of Emergency Situations – and from Fire Station No. 61 and Fire Station No. 91 of the Orenburg Region fire service).
According to available information, the total fire area is about 120 square meters. Currently, 25 people and 7 pieces of equipment are engaged in dousing the structures. There are no casualties. The preliminary cause of the fire is not yet known.
Note that in April 2023, a similar fire required the involvement of even a fire train. The operational headquarters was led by the city head Vladimir Peskov. The total fire area at that time was about 2,000 square meters, and the fire did not spread to the nearby oil depot.
