His explanation contradicts the official version from city authorities.

Southern Transport Company denied information about racing between buses

Alan Bolataev, director and owner of «Southern Transport Company», stated that the accident involving bus route No. 27 in the center of Rostov occurred due to unremoved snow on the shoulder.
«The shoulders haven»t been cleared. The bus hit the brakes, slipped, and knocked down a bus stop and a pole. There was no racing,« he said.
The Rostov administration believes that the incident happened due to a collision between buses No. 83 and No. 27. Bolataev refutes this version.
«Bus No. 83 is not a participant in the accident. It»s just that when our bus hit the brakes, it skidded, and bus No. 83 was slightly touched,« the owner explained.
As a result of the incident, no one was injured: neither the driver nor the passengers. There was also no one at the bus stop at the time of the accident.
The damaged bus will be repaired. It currently remains at the scene because traffic police inspectors are still processing the documents.
According to preliminary information from the traffic police, the accident occurred when the driver of bus No. 27 tried to release it from the handbrake. Rostov authorities promised to restore the destroyed bus stop.
