A serious accident involving an intercity bus that overturned on a highway in Ipatovsky District early in the morning ended with a hospital trip for one of the passengers.

Recall that on February 2 around 05:10 a.m., the driver of the intercity bus KING LONG REGARD, traveling on the route Sevastopol — Astrakhan, was moving from the village of Krasnaya Polyana towards Takhta. The man did not account for meteorological conditions, chose an unsafe speed, and lost control of the vehicle.

The bus skidded, then veered into the left ditch and overturned. Initially, it was reported that four people were taken to Ipatovo hospital after the accident. However, later the State Traffic Inspectorate of Stavropol Krai clarified that only an 89-year-old resident of Astrakhan Oblast was hospitalized. She has a blunt abdominal injury.

The others sought one-time medical assistance. At the time of the accident, there were 23 passengers and two drivers in the cabin. The participants of the incident were taken to a temporary accommodation point, where they are awaiting replacement transport.
