Today, January 22, around 4:20 p.m., a traffic accident occurred due to an error by a 64-year-old Omsk resident. According to preliminary data, the woman was pulling out from a secondary road near 33 Gusarova Street and failed to yield to the bus, causing a collision with a red Toyota.
Bus No. 45, on the route from Yasnaya Polyana to Amursky-2 Microdistrict, had more than ten passengers on board at the time of the crash, as reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate. Photos from the scene show that the bus struck the side of the car, resulting in severe cracking of the bus«s windshield.
«At this time, the participants in the accident have not sought medical assistance. The final causes and circumstances will be determined during the investigation,» emphasized the Ministry of Internal Affairs department.
Earlier in the day, several traffic accidents occurred on Omsk roads, leading to significant traffic congestion.
