Bus Collides with Garbage Truck and Blocks Road
A serious accident on the Yegorshinsky approach to Yekaterinburg has caused a large traffic jam.

On the Yegorshinsky approach to Yekaterinburg, a collision occurred between a passenger bus and a garbage truck. The accident blocked traffic, forcing drivers into a multi-kilometer traffic jam.
After the collision, the bus obstructed multiple lanes on the Yegorshinsky approach to Yekaterinburg.
According to eyewitnesses, the bus stopped almost across the roadway, blocking several lanes. «The bus practically blocked all lanes across the road. Turn around,» one of the motorists reported.
The incident occurred after a railway crossing towards the ZhBI residential area. The causes of the collision are being investigated. Among the versions suggested by witnesses are both an unsuccessful U-turn by the bus and skidding of one of the vehicles on the road.
«We were stuck in traffic for about 30 minutes, we were late for work. Hopefully, no one was seriously injured, but it seemed like there was no one near the bus,» one of the eyewitnesses shared with the publication.
The Yekaterinburg State Traffic Inspectorate has not yet commented on the details of the incident. More details about the accident will be known later.
