Burning Truck Causes Traffic Jam on Dzhubga–Sochi Highway Near Lazarevskoye

A traffic jam formed on the approach to Sochi due to a burning truck. The incident occurred at night at the 103rd kilometer of the federal highway A-147 «Dzhubga – Sochi» in the area of the Mametova Shchel settlement in Lazarevsky District.

According to the Telegram channel of the Sochi State Traffic Inspectorate, a spontaneous fire occurred in a JAC-brand truck. For safety during firefighting operations, traffic police officers temporarily closed the roadway.

Fire service units quickly localized and extinguished the open flame. As a result of the incident, the vehicle burned out completely, but there were no casualties.

Currently, traffic on this section is organized in a reversible mode on one lane. State Traffic Inspectorate officers are regulating the flow on site. Motorists are advised to plan their trips taking delays into account or choose alternative routes.
