BMW and Hyundai Collide: Driver Injured, Other Flees
Two cars collided on the 28th kilometer of the Murmansk Highway in Leningrad Region; the driver of the Hyundai Solaris fled the scene.

The press service of the state institution Lenoblpozhspas (Leningrad Oblast Fire and Rescue Service) reported the accident on the Kola highway in the Vsevolozhsky District of Leningrad Region on July 20. The collision occurred the day before at approximately 12:00 on the 28th kilometer of the road while heading towards St. Petersburg.
Firefighters from the 101st department of Lenoblpozhspas cleared the scene after the crash.

Preliminary findings indicate that two cars — a BMW and a Hyundai Solaris — were traveling in the same lane. The impact caused the vehicles to separate: the BMW ended up in a ditch, while the driver of the Hyundai left the scene before rescuers arrived. His whereabouts remained unknown at the time of inspection.
The BMW driver sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital in Vsevolozhsk. No information about casualties in the Hyundai was available. Firefighters from the 101st fire department of the Vsevolozhsk detachment of Lenoblpozhspas responded to the scene.
