Asphyxia led to visitor's death at St. Petersburg mall

On January 23, information emerged about the death of a visitor to the Perekryostok store, located in the City Mall shopping and entertainment complex in St. Petersburg.
The cause of death was asphyxia, which resulted from security guards pressing the man into the floor at the store«s exit.
In connection with the incident, the Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case for causing death by negligence.
As part of the investigation, two suspects have been detained.
