Another heating main burst in Yasnaya fixed after 12 hours

The third heating main burst in Zabaykalye (Transbaikal region) in the last month, which this time occurred in the settlement of Yasnaya in Olovyanninsky District, has been fixed. This was reported on January 23 in his Telegram channel by the region«s Deputy Governor Alexei Goncharov.

«At 18:30 the burst was eliminated. We began increasing capacity at the boiler house. It will reach full capacity in approximately 2 hours. The houses at 10 and 12 Lenin Street are also heating up,» Goncharov wrote.

The prosecutor«s office of Olovyanninsky District has organized an inspection because of the heating main burst.

Initially, the heating main burst was reported by one of the local residents, and the head of the settlement, Tatyana Levkovskaya, confirmed the information. The leak in the heating network was detected today at 06:30 in the morning. At 14:20, the burst was found near an apartment building. Two houses were disconnected from heating for the duration of the repair work.

The 2025/2026 winter heating season in Zabaykalye is proving difficult. Several accidents have occurred in just the last few days.

The first central heating main burst was in Atamanovka on the afternoon of December 30. It could not be fixed quickly, and as a result, the residents of the settlement celebrated the New Year in cold apartments. On January 1, the boiler house was brought to full capacity, but then in the settlement a new heating main burst occurred — on Tselinnaya Street, and it was soon eliminated. Because of the Atamanovka incident, investigators also opened a criminal case for negligence, as about 3,000 people were left without heat.

The second heating main burst occurred in Darasun on January 21. Because of it, the Investigative Committee also opened a criminal case for negligence.

In addition, in Dauria on January 19, a water pipe burst, leaving some houses without water. They promise to finish the work within the day.
