In central Arkhangelsk, a cafe was closed after a surprise inspection. Violations were found there that could threaten the life and health of visitors.

This concerns the cafe «Stary Arkhangelsk» on Troitsky. The Arkhangelsk Region office of Rospotrebnadzor (the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) conducted an inspection there on January 23.
The inspection identified numerous violations of sanitary legislation and technical regulations at the cafe, which posed a threat of harm to the life and health of citizens.
The catering establishment has been temporarily banned from operating until the case is reviewed by the Oktyabrsky District Court.
In Arkhangelsk, the restaurant «Olivye» was also temporarily closed. Schoolchildren from the Sverdlovsk Region dined there and were found to have an intestinal infection. Eight people were affected.
