The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia demanded that the head of the regional department report on the progress of the investigation into the incident involving a 12-year-old student.

Alexander Bastrykin, chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR), instructed the head of the investigative department for Rostov Region, Aslan Khuade, to provide a report on the investigation of the criminal case.
The case was initiated based on the beating of a 12-year-old girl in a school in the Aksaysky District.
According to the investigation, she was hit on the head against a doorjamb by a classmate, after which the victim lost consciousness.
A recording of the incident was posted online by the perpetrators themselves.
The regional investigative department of the ICR has already opened a criminal case under the article «Hooliganism,» and the police are conducting a parallel check.
«Chairman of the ICR Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the SU ICR for Rostov Region Aslan Khuade to report on the progress of the criminal investigation and established circumstances,» the press service of the agency quoted.
As the girl«s mother said, the conflict with classmates arose because they brought up the topic of her father»s death during the special military operation.
