Voronezh Oblast has announced a threat of a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) attack. Governor Alexander Gusev reported this in his Telegram channel.

The threat is in effect from 14:27 on 23 January. Air defense forces are ready to repel a possible attack.

“We ask the population to remain calm! If you are indoors: do not go outside, stay away from window openings, and if possible, go to a room without windows. If you are outdoors: enter the nearest building, entrance, parking lot, or underpass. If you see a UAV — call 112 and immediately leave the area where it can be seen,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) recommends.

The previous threat of a UAV attack was canceled in the region at 06:23. Overnight, sirens were activated in the Buturlinovsky and Rossoshansky districts. Air defense forces detected and destroyed two unmanned aerial vehicles. Preliminary reports indicate no one was injured. Debris from the downed drone fell on a private house where a family of three lived — the roof caught fire. The family is now staying with relatives, and restoration work on the house will begin later.

UPD. At 15:02, sirens were activated in the Liskinsky district — an immediate threat of attack is in effect there.
