Acquaintances share story of stable where 15 horses perished

The owners of the equestrian club «Dobry Kon» (Good Horse), where all 15 horses died in a fire on January 23, cared for the animals with great love. This was reported by readers well acquainted with the family.

According to them, many horses were picked up or bought by the owners in poor condition.

«They were cared for over the years. An enormous amount of work and effort was invested. Just imagine, cleaning and feeding in the morning, afternoon, and evening. And how many resources are needed for feeding,»

said one of the family«s acquaintances.

He also noted that the stable was built by the whole community:

«You could say, many helped, some with materials, some with labor. Because they respected the person, saw his attitude towards animals and people.»

Another witness confirmed that keeping the animals was not a business project.

«The stalls are always clean, the animals are fed, all medical procedures are done on time. This story is not about business, but about love for animals. The stable owner bought animals that were going to slaughter, treated them, and simply kept them, for free,»

she shared.

In addition to the death of the animals, many buildings on the club«s territory burned down in the fire. The owner family has organized a fundraiser for restoration.

Unfortunately, this is not the first such case in the region. Several years ago, at Uralmash, 12 horses burned alive in a stable fire.
