The accident occurred on July 19 around noon on the 28th kilometer of Murmansk Highway in the Vsevolozhsky District of the Leningrad Region. Two cars traveling in the same direction collided — a BMW and a Hyundai Solaris.
Rescuers from Fire Station 101 of the Vsevolozhsky detachment of Lenoblpozhspas worked at the scene.

The BMW driver sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital in Vsevolozhsk. The Hyundai driver fled the scene; his whereabouts and condition are currently unknown.
