9-year-old Pasha did not attend school due to unreadiness

The body of nine-year-old Pasha was discovered in the Lomonosovsky District of Leningrad Oblast. The boy grew up in a large family and did not attend school, as his grandmother reported on February 3.

Pasha has three brothers and three sisters.

At the end of last year, the large family from the Krasnoselsky District of St. Petersburg was registered as being in a socially dangerous situation.

Around the same time, the children«s mother was held administratively liable for improper fulfillment of parental duties.

According to the grandmother, the younger children attend kindergarten, and the older ones study at school. The oldest child will soon turn 13 years old. However, Pasha did not go to school after kindergarten.

The grandmother explained the decision not to send the boy to first grade: «We did not let him go because he was not ready at all. He was small, still confusing his shoes. I say: let him go next year, so he»ll be a bit more serious. The school said that some commission needs to be passed because he did not go that year. I don«t really understand what this commission is, my daughter knows.»
