In Nyazepetrovsk on Wednesday, January 28, a nine-year-old boy died after falling into an open well. Medics who arrived at the call pronounced the child dead.
The government of Chelyabinsk Region reported that the well, filled with groundwater, was apparently ownerless and not on the books of any utility company.
«A commission from the Chelyabinsk Region Ministry of Housing and Utilities will travel to Nyazepetrovsk tomorrow morning to determine the well»s ownership,« the regional government said.
