7-year-old girl dies in swing accident in Malinovka
Investigators from the regional committee were deployed to the accident site to gather evidence.
In the village of Malinovka in the Arkadak District, a 7-year-old girl fell from a swing and died while swinging. The tragedy was reported by the regional investigative committee.
The incident occurred on February 1 on Krupskaya Street. While swinging on the swing, the girl sustained several fatal injuries. The Rtishchevsky interdistrict investigative committee has initiated a criminal case for causing death by negligence under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Russian Criminal Code.
According to a source from 164.RU in law enforcement, the girl lived with her grandmother, her mother was working away, and there was no father in the family.
«The child was swinging in the yard of a private house. The grandmother came, saw that her granddaughter showed no signs of life, and called an ambulance and the police. An autopsy may be conducted this morning to determine the exact cause of death,» the source said.
