The investigation into the house explosion in Tobolsk is ongoing. Recall that in March of last year, as a result of the tragedy, 7-year-old Maxim Bakharev died, and his mother was injured. According to the investigation, during work to connect gas equipment near the Bakharev family«s home, workers damaged a coupling on the gas pipeline pipe. The incident was blamed on gas service workers—employees of LLC »TGV Inzhiniring«. At that time, Nikita Konstantinov, a polyethylene pipe welder, and his colleague Sergey Poluyanov, an ordinary master, were detained.

We contacted the homeowner Anton Bakharev. He said that the case has not yet been transferred to court.

«The investigation is still ongoing—it has been extended until February 12. There is a possibility that it will be extended until March. The documents have not yet been sent to court. Now we are waiting for the prosecutor»s office to review the materials and file charges,« Anton Bakharev told 72.RU.

The two men who were detained have been released from arrest. According to Anton, they have found jobs at another organization.

The Bakharev family still lives in Tobolsk. Maxim«s mother is still recovering from the tragedy—the woman was hospitalized in extremely critical condition.

«My wife is recovering, she goes for procedures. At the end of September, we were at rehabilitation in Matsesta (a resort in Sochi). The wounds are healing,» added Anton Bakharev.

Last year, we went to Tobolsk. We visited the site of the tragedy and spoke with the relatives of the deceased boy.
