7-month-old baby hospitalized in Stavropol Territory after Mazda overturns

Roads are dangerous places, and accidents often end in hospitalization. This time, a very young passenger of a foreign car was hospitalized.

According to preliminary data, the accident occurred on January 27 at around 15:20 on the 198th kilometer of the Rostov-on-Don – Stavropol highway. The driver of a Mazda lost control and veered off the roadway, after which the car overturned.

In the back seat, in a child restraint device, was a small passenger – a 7-month-old child. He was taken to the hospital.

Traffic police established that the driver of the foreign car had 14 years of experience. Recently, he had not been held administratively liable for traffic violations. An investigation into the accident is being conducted.

Meanwhile, on the Georgievsk – Novopavlovsk highway, the driver of a Lada Granta exceeded the speed limit, veered off the road, and crashed into a tree. A 37-year-old resident of a neighboring region, who was behind the wheel of the car, sustained serious injuries and died at the scene before the ambulance arrived. The severity of the consequences may have been influenced by the fact that he was not wearing a seatbelt.
