63-year-old woman killed in Engels fire on Stroitely Avenue

In Engels, a 63-year-old woman died as a result of a fire on Stroitely Avenue. Details of the incident were provided by the press service of the regional EMERCOM department.

A report of the fire was received by the 112 emergency service at 14:40. An apartment on the 4th floor of a five-story corridor-type building was on fire. The fire area was 12 square meters, and it was extinguished by three fire crews. Rescuers brought three residents from the upper floor using rescue devices, and six more people evacuated from the smoke-filled entrance on their own.

The body of the deceased 63-year-old woman was found in the apartment. An EMERCOM investigator was working at the scene to determine the circumstances of the fire. Additionally, an investigator from the Investigative Committee arrived at the scene and is conducting his own investigation.
