40 Bulls Saved in Barn Fire in Leningrad Oblast
Firefighters in Leningrad Oblast's Volosovsky District are continuing efforts to extinguish a burning barn after evacuating 40 bulls.

The fire in a livestock building in the village of Kurkovitsy started around 13:00 on February 2.
According to the State Institution «Lenoblpozhspas» (Leningrad Oblast Fire and Rescue Service), the ignition occurred on the roof.
According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) for Leningrad Oblast, approximately 100 square meters are engulfed in flames.
The main actions of the firefighters:
- Elimination of open burning;
- Simultaneous evacuation of livestock from the burning building.
As of now, 40 bulls have been led out of the barn.
At the scene, forces from the 119th fire station of the Volosovsky detachment are working.
For reinforcement, rescuers from the 120th fire station have been sent to them.
No information about injured people has been received.
