On February 3, a nearly 30-kilometer traffic jam was recorded on the M-7 federal highway in the Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir regions. According to drivers, the causes were snowfall, traffic accidents, and restrictions due to repair works.
Data from online maps indicate difficult traffic on the section from the turn to Volodarsk to Gorokhovets. In the area of the bridge over the Klyazma River, road works continue, and traffic towards Moscow is organized in the left lane.
Photos and videos of long queues consisting of trucks and cars heading to the capital are appearing on social media.

People stand there for 10-12 hours every day. Road works have been going on for more than a month, and everyone was passing through fine. For some reason, everyone decided to neglect snow removal and road maintenance. <…> Heavy trucks can«t climb the hill and stop, blocking traffic.
Complaints about multi-kilometer traffic jams on this section of the M-7 highway near Vladimir Oblast have been coming from drivers since the end of January.
