28 People Taken to Novosibirsk Police, Mostly Teens

In Novosibirsk, over the weekend 28 people were taken to duty stations, among them 24 teenagers. This was reported on July 20 at an operational meeting in the regional government by Andrey Kulkov, head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) for the region.
From Friday evening until Monday morning, police officers conducted the «Quiet Center» operation in the Central and Zheleznodorozhny districts. A total of 124 officers took part in the operation.
«Over the indicated days, 142 administrative violations were identified. Nine conflict situations between citizens were stopped. 28 people were taken to duty stations, among them 24 minors,» Andrey Kulkov said.
In addition, with the participation of the State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI), four cars were towed from Lenin Street. Also, three stores were found selling alcohol at night.
On June 1, NGS reported that 15 teenagers ended up at duty stations over that weekend.
