The «Zamkovaya, 72» boiler plant in Kislovodsk has been shut down. The reason is increased system feed and a possible coolant leak. This was reported by the city«s mayor, Yevgeny Moiseyev, on his Telegram channel.

A total of 24 apartment buildings have been left without central heating. Specialists are currently searching for the leak location — it is possible that a rupture occurred in the basement of one of the apartment buildings.

Where Heating Is Currently Off

According to city authorities, heating has been temporarily cut off at the following addresses:

  • Zhmakina Street: 56, 58

  • Zamkovaya Street: 68

  • Krasivaya Street: 1, 3, 7, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 45

  • Chelyuskintsev Street: 5, 5B, 16, 16A, 34

  • Belinsky Street: 11, 14

Utility services are currently searching for the coolant leak. The main theory is a rupture in the basement of one of the buildings.

The authorities have appealed to management companies to promptly check the basements on Krasivaya, Zhmakina, Zamkovaya, Belinsky, and Chelyuskintsev streets — as the source of the problem is likely there.

The timeline for restoring heating will depend on how quickly the leak can be found and fixed.
