22 drones downed in Belgorod Region night attacks
Air defense forces repelled night drone attacks in six regions of Russia on February 2. The largest number of drones were destroyed over the Belgorod Region, where casualties were recorded.

On the morning of February 2, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported repelling night drone attacks in six regions. Duty air defense forces destroyed and intercepted 31 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.
The drones were shot down over the following territories:
- 22 over the Belgorod Region,
- four over Krasnodar Krai,
- two over the Rostov Region,
- one each over the Bryansk, Kursk, and Astrakhan Regions.
In the Belgorod Region, in the city of Stary Oskol, two people were killed as a result of the attack. They were found in a burned house. In the Bryansk Region, one person was injured.
Rostov Region Governor Yury Slusar stated that there is no information about casualties or damage on the ground in his region. Data on consequences in other regions has not been received.
