21 Freight Train Cars Derail in Kirov Oblast

On February 1 at 15:50, on the section between Orici and Shalegovo stations in Kirov Oblast, 21 cars of a freight train derailed.

No casualties or injuries were recorded as a result of the emergency.

Recovery trains were dispatched to the site to eliminate the consequences and restore the tracks.

Train movement on this section has been temporarily halted.

«Currently, movement on the section has been suspended. Delays are expected for passenger trains,» according to operational information.
