On Tuesday morning, January 27, a mass accident with casualties occurred in Samara. Traffic police inspectors arrived in the Oktyabrsky District, at the intersection of Tikhvinskaya and Sovetskoy Armii streets.
As reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Samara Region, four cars collided near the television center.
‘According to preliminary data, one of the drivers was injured — a woman born in 2006,’ police clarified.
Law enforcement added that they had to remove the vehicles of the accident participants from the road. The causes of the accident are to be determined by experts.
According to the service ‘Yandex Maps,’ the accident slightly affected the traffic speed on Sovetskoy Armii Street. The average traffic speed here ranges from 10 to 20 m/s.
Meanwhile, residents of the Kuibyshevsky District faced huge traffic jams in the morning. Their cause was a major fire in a non-residential building on Belorusskaya Street.
