14-year-old girl falls from fifth floor in southern Volgograd

According to eyewitnesses, a 14-year-old girl fell from a window on the fifth floor of an apartment building on Kanatnikov Avenue in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd. The victim survived initially and was hospitalized, but doctors could not save her—she died in the intensive care unit of Hospital No. 15.
Eyewitnesses said the tragedy occurred this morning, January 22, at building No. 10 on Kanatnikov Avenue. According to a source familiar with the situation, the girl was raised by her mother and stepfather in a well-off family. However, allegedly shortly before the tragedy, she had some problems in her personal relationships.
According to preliminary information, the girl survived but sustained numerous injuries and was taken to the hospital«s intensive care unit.
The press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Volgograd Oblast (SKR) clarified that no information about the emergency involving a minor has been received from the duty service yet. A response from the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Volgograd Oblast was also not received at the time of publication.
The editorial office of V1.RU requested information about the victim«s condition from the regional health committee. They reported that the injured girl was delivered to intensive care in extremely critical condition. The patient sustained injuries incompatible with life and, despite all efforts by medics, suddenly died in the intensive care unit of Hospital No. 15.
