14-Year-Old Dies in Volgograd Fall from Fifth Floor
Five-story residential building on Kanatchikov Avenue, where the fall occurred
On the morning of January 22, in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd, a 14-year-old girl fell from the window of the fifth floor of house No. 10 on Kanatchikov Avenue.
The victim in extremely serious condition was promptly hospitalized in the intensive care unit of hospital No. 16. The regional health committee later reported that the injuries were incompatible with life, and despite all efforts by medics, the teenager died.
Preliminary data indicates that the girl was raised in a well-off family by her mother and stepfather. According to available information, shortly before the tragedy, she may have had difficulties in personal relationships.
Official comments from the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (SKR) and the main directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) of Russia for the Volgograd region have not been received at this time.
