In the village of Yar, Tomsky District, a 100-year-old resident died in a fire. This was reported by the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) for Tomsk Oblast.

A one-story wooden house caught fire in the afternoon of February 3 in the village of Yar, Tomsky District. Three pieces of equipment and 11 people were sent to extinguish the fire. Nearly five hours passed from their arrival until the complete extinguishment.

The walls were charred, and the wooden roof sheathing collapsed. The total fire area was 274 square meters.

A woman born in 1925 died in the fire. The cause of the fire is being determined.

As reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Tomsk Oblast, a pre-investigation check is being conducted after the woman«s death.
