Yekaterinburg Hosts Cancer Screening for Early Diagnosis

In Yekaterinburg, a medical check-up has been organized as part of a cancer screening event aimed at early detection of oncological diseases.
The event will take place on January 24 from 09:00 to 15:00 at Polyclinic No. 2, located at 16 Bratiev Bykovykh Street.
Participants in the campaign will have access to the following types of examinations:
- fluorography for assessing lung condition;
- mammography for women;
- electrocardiography for checking the heart;
- measurement of intraocular pressure;
- blood test;
- smear collection.
In addition, as part of the cancer screening event, it will be possible to get consultations with an oncologist and a dermatologist, who will perform dermatoscopy for diagnosing skin neoplasms.
“The campaign is aimed at early diagnosis and prevention of oncology. Doctors recommend monitoring one’s cancer status to everyone who has turned 30, and remind that prevention of oncological diseases makes it possible to prevent or diagnose a precancerous condition,” reported the Yekaterinburg city administration.
