In Ryazan, an ambulance could not reach a patient due to snowdrifts. But doctor Vladislav Safin decided not to delay and ran to the woman, who complained of shortness of breath, heart palpitations, and chest pain.
The daughter of the 68-year-old patient, Yulia, says that the doctor arrived on foot and almost immediately began providing assistance.
‘The doctor came on foot. Starting to provide emergency assistance to my mother, he did not waste a minute. He very quickly conducted all necessary examinations. My mother«s blood pressure was close to normal, but her heart rate was very high: 150 beats per minute. A severe arrhythmia attack…’, Yulia recounts.
Vladislav Safin, using an intravenous catheter, administered a drug to the pensioner to restore her heart rhythm and fought for her life for about 40 minutes. The doctor insisted on hospitalization and suggested calling the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) to carry the patient to the ambulance, which could not pass.
But the patient«s condition improved and hospitalization was not required.
