Residents of Kemerovo have harshly criticized the management of Clinic No. 5. In response to a column by writer Iosif Kuralov about the institution«s chief physician, readers shared their sad stories.

Thus, many townspeople recount the incredible absurdity of the administration«s decisions.

«Once I wrote an application requesting a duplicate card for insurance. After a few days — a written response from the institution»s lawyer: «We cannot issue a copy because you do not have a power of attorney to receive it, and patient data is medical confidentiality.» But I was asking for my own card. How can I issue a power of attorney to myself?« — wonders one of the patients.

«We pay taxes, and in return we often get such indifferent and arrogant attitude from those who live on these taxes. For such treatment of patients, heads should roll fully, not allowing rudeness and indifference to breed,» — supports her another commentator.

«My acquaintance sat in line for a doctor»s appointment at this clinic for five hours,« — shares our reader.

Townspeople also noted that the problem is systemic and affects not only this specific organization.

«The beastly behavior of medical institution managers in Kuzbass (the Kemerovo region in Siberia) is widespread. Check Myski (a town in Kuzbass)! There»s the same lawlessness there!« — writes an anonymous person.

At the same time, commentators report that in the healthcare system, not only patients suffer, but also doctors.

«I also had such a reception with the chief physician, only in Mezhdurechensk (another city in Kuzbass). There, a lawyer also pounced on me, and two deputies were sitting nearby. I came regarding employment. They humiliated me and refused me work. By the way, I am a doctor. That»s how needed we are,« — tells a medical professional.

«Doesn»t the Minister of Health of Kuzbass surprise at the staff turnover in the fifth clinic? After all, we patients don«t have time to memorize the doctors» surnames,« — concludes a reader.
