ZhBI District to Get Pedestrian Bridge to Komosoll Mall: Who and When?

A pedestrian bridge will be built in the ZhBI district to the Komosoll shopping mall. The design of the structure is being handled by Baden-Baden, and the company is currently finalizing a contract for the design, said Yevgeny Kononov, the owner of the thermal complex.

«We spoke with the Yekaterinburg administration on this matter and received support. We agreed that Baden will design the bridge, and we hope funds for implementation will be allocated under the Accessible Environment program. For our part, we are ready to invest in the design and transfer the documentation to the city free of charge,» Yevgeny Kononov told E1.RU.

It is expected that the bridge project will be ready in 2026. However, the construction timeline depends on whether the project gets into the Accessible Environment program.

«Looking towards ZhBI, if there were a logical, convenient bridge, residents of the neighborhood could simply walk, without a car. In that direction, as far as I know, there is a pedestrian park and an alley. It would be very convenient and logical,» explained the owner of Baden.
