Yevgeny Solntsev Again Questions Orsk Mayor, Vows Personal Oversight

Orenburg Region Governor Yevgeny Solntsev, who was working in Orsk over the weekend, not only visited the church and schools that were repaired after the flood, but also held a reception for local residents. As a result, the head of the city, Artyom Vorobyov, again faces major questions (at the end of last year, he was demanded to complete the «saga» of the safety declaration for the dam and to speed up the pace of improvement work).

What angered Solntsev the most was the fact that a female resident of Orsk came to his reception asking to resolve the issue of lighting on Tchaikovsky Street. She said that currently there are only streetlights at the beginning and end of the street. Now Artyom Vorobyov has one month to make it as bright as day there in the evening.

— It is surprising that residents come to me with such issues that should be resolved at the municipal level. I have ordered the work to be carried out promptly. I will personally monitor the result! — said Solntsev.

Also attending the reception were two fighters of the special military operation (SVO) (one still has not received payment for a wound, the other was interested in employment), an Orsk resident who asked to repair the road on Metallistov Street (the government will allocate a targeted subsidy and carry out the street repair by the end of this year«s road construction season), plus a townswoman at whose request equipment and inventory for sports grounds will be purchased in the villages of Tukay and Krylovka as part of participatory budgeting.
