In the former Komsomoll shopping center, the first phase of the giant thermal resort Badenland has opened. E1.RU was one of the first to visit. We show what«s inside.

The first floor of Badenland is decorated in a tropical style, featuring a 1,200-square-meter pool, VIP zones in the form of wigwams, a children«s spa area with animators, and a panoramic sauna. They plan to conduct aroma steam sessions and practices for women»s wellness there, and possibly create a karaoke bathhouse.

The resort is set to open to the public on January 24.

First visitors say that benches are not yet ready in the reception area, and the restaurant is still finishing its decor.

The pool is equipped with a five-stage water purification system, and two huge screens have been placed in the center, which will show a waterfall or fiery lava depending on the time of day. Soon, a pool bar will open at one of the edges, allowing guests to order drinks without leaving the water. Also, a bar in the form of a bus and a cafe will appear near the pool.

The facility can accommodate up to a thousand visitors simultaneously.

Inna Spinchevskaya, the manager of Badenland, told E1.RU that before filling the pool in the former shopping center building and conducting such a large-scale reconstruction, experts carried out engineering studies and concluded that the premises meet the planned changes.

The new complex does not have an outdoor pool. It will only open in two months, said the owner of Baden, Yevgeny Kononov.

Within a year and a half, the complex plans to open another restaurant — a large family-friendly one.

The second floor is decorated in Russian style. Here, there is a huge banya called «Bogatyr» with a capacity of up to 100 people, several more small steam rooms, and a bar with a large samovar.

First guests were surprised that there are few saunas. At Uktus, there are many more. But this is because only the first phase is ready so far.

As in other branches, scheduled mass steam sessions will be held in the saunas.

Badenland will open in three phases in total. The other two are still in the design stage, and the work is planned to be fully completed in the summer of 2027.
