Yekaterinburg Families Flock to New Thermal Spa Opening
Some visitors chose not to stand in line, sitting on sofas and benches near the reception.
Hundreds of Yekaterinburg residents gathered at the opening of the Badenland thermal resort. The giant venue in the former Komosmall shopping center attracted both adults and children.
According to the first visitors to the complex, one section of the cloakroom is already completely packed with outerwear. A huge queue has formed at the reception. Children are being entertained by animators dressed as characters from «Fools» Village«.
However, the pool area is spacious: the territory is large, people are not crowding in one place but strolling throughout the complex, visitors say.
Earlier we showed what Badenland looks like inside. The first floor is designed in a tropical style, and a 1200-square-meter pool was installed there. A VIP zone, a children«s spa zone, and a panoramic sauna were equipped here. In two months, an outdoor pool will open in the new complex.
The second floor is designed in Russian style. Here, there is a huge banya called «Bogatyr» with a capacity of up to 100 people, several small steam rooms, and a bar with a huge samovar.
We detailed the project in this article. Initially, the company announced a different launch date for the project — December 25. But the opening was postponed by a month.
Recall that another thermal complex — «Yuga» — opened in Yekaterinburg in 2024.
