On Friday, January 23, a meeting was held between Pyotr Fradkov, Chairman of PSB (Promsvyazbank), and Mikhail Yevrayev, Governor of Yaroslavl Region. At the working meeting, the parties outlined cooperation plans and summarized the work for 2025, which was the bank«s first year in its new home region.
During this time, they developed and approved a strategy for the partial relocation of the head office, a methodology for identifying departments to relocate, and a social well-being program.
Pyotr Fradkov noted that the company will focus on creating a comfortable environment for its employees. Under the relocation program for part of the head office, over 5,000 specialists with their families will move to Yaroslavl Region. Residential complexes, office buildings, and necessary social facilities are planned to be built for them.
In 2025, the bank obtained legal and tax registration in Yaroslavl. This was reflected in the increase in contributions to the local treasury: last year, tax revenues more than doubled compared to 2024.
The heads of the bank and the region also discussed the future of the «Shinnik» stadium. The authorities and the bank will jointly work on the issue of reconstructing the facility or building a new one in its place.
Pyotr Fradkov said, «Last year, we did colossal work and laid the foundation for the transformations that the bank and Yaroslavl Region will undergo over the next five years. It is important for us to preserve and enhance what the region is so rich in. The legendary Shinnik stadium is an important sports facility, and now it is entering a new stage of its more than 70-year life. In 2026, we will begin developing the concept for the future stadium and determine the most priority model for implementing this project—through large-scale reconstruction or the construction of a new modern facility. The stadium will become a real home for FC Shinnik and its fans and will help in achieving new sporting heights, and for all citizens—a modern, comfortable, and multifunctional public space for sports, recreation, and mass events.»
Mikhail Yevrayev noted, «Based on the results of the bank»s first year in Yaroslavl Region, the results are serious. Today, the bank is among the region«s major taxpayers. Its tax contributions for the year more than doubled compared to 2024. This year, we will jointly begin developing the concept for the Shinnik stadium and determine the optimal model for its creation—reconstruction or the construction of a new modern facility. We will continue implementing other joint socially significant projects in the fields of sports, preservation of cultural heritage sites, and urban development.»
