Yaroslavl Region Opens Hotline for Snow Removal Complaints

The regional prosecutor's office has set up a special phone line for complaints about snow and ice removal from roads and yards.

A special telephone line has been opened in the Yaroslavl Region to receive complaints about poor snow removal.

From January 26 to February 9, a hotline will operate in the Yaroslavl Region for issues related to snow and ice removal from roads, sidewalks, and adjacent territories.
The hotline«s operating hours:
  • Monday through Thursday — from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 13:45 to 18:00,
  • Friday — from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 13:45 to 16:45.
«In order to promptly address issues and take effective measures on applications requiring immediate response, complaints are accepted at the prosecutor»s offices of cities and districts at the location of street-road network objects and adjacent territories, both in person and via phones listed on the department«s website,» explained the press service of the regional prosecutor«s office.
The hotline was launched due to numerous violations identified during the autumn-winter season of 2025–2026.
According to the supervisory authority, 91 submissions were made to management companies and 19 warnings were issued.
35 officials were summoned to the prosecutor«s office to give explanations, and the issue of their administrative liability is being resolved.
The violations concern licensing requirements for managing apartment buildings, as well as housing maintenance rules.
