Yaroslavl Region Launches Hotline for Snow Removal Complaints

The prosecutor's office in Yaroslavl Region has launched a hotline to handle complaints about snow and ice removal from roads, sidewalks, and residential areas.

The prosecutor«s office of Yaroslavl Region has launched a hotline for issues regarding the removal of snow and ice from roads, sidewalks, and residential areas. It will operate from 26 January to 9 February: Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 1:45 PM to 6:00 PM, on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 1:45 PM to 4:45 PM.

«In order to promptly resolve issues and take effective measures on reports requiring immediate response, appeals can be submitted at city and district prosecutor»s offices at the location of street and road network facilities and residential areas, either in person or via phones listed on the department«s website,» the press service of the regional prosecutor«s office clarified.

According to the prosecutor«s office, during the autumn-winter period of 2025–2026, numerous violations were identified in the work of management companies in Yaroslavl Region. Supervisory authorities issued 91 submissions, announced 19 warnings about the inadmissibility of legal violations. In addition, 35 officials were summoned to the prosecutor»s office to give explanations and resolve the issue of bringing them to administrative responsibility. This concerns violations of licensing requirements in the management of apartment buildings, as well as rules for the maintenance and repair of residential buildings and premises.
