Yaroslavl man’s pet taxi: 'Circus tent relocation'

Alexei Kochigin from Yaroslavl is a 55-year-old pet taxi driver. He started offering the unusual service of transporting animals two years ago. During that time, dozens of cats, dogs, and other domestic pets have ridden in his minivan. Once, he even had to transport an entire «family» of furry creatures.

«It was a move from Yaroslavl to Rybinsk. You could really call it a circus tent relocation. There were parrots, guinea pigs, a dog, a cat, and fish,» the pet taxi driver said.

Another time, Alexei transported eight dogs at once. He says people mostly contact him to take pets to the vet. Or breeders send puppies to new families, often to other cities. Thanks to the orders, Alexei has been able to visit new places.
