Yakutia to improve 17 yards in 2026

Four yards in Yakutsk will be upgraded as part of a broader project to improve 17 yards across Yakutia in 2026.

Yakutia will receive 112.1 million rubles (about $1.12 million at current rates) for the implementation of the Far Eastern Yards Improvement project. This was reported by the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning under the Head of the Republic. In total, the project includes seven districts of the republic, including Yakutsk.

A total of 17 yards will be improved:

Yakutsk: Strada Street, 10/3a; Zavodskaya Street, 20/1; Pushkina Street, 31 and 31/1;

  • Tomponsky District, Keskil Village: Zelenaya Street, 8 and 6/1;

  • Nyurbinsky District, Nyurba: Pionerskaya Street, 67, 69, 71, 73;

  • Neryungrinsky District, Neryungri: Druzhby Narodov Street, 9, 13, 17, 19;

  • Megino-Khangalassky District, Maya Village: Geroya Popova Street, 19;

  • Bulunsky District, Tiksi Settlement: Leninskaya Street, 16;

  • Aldansky District, Aldan: Papysheva Street, 30.

    The improvement includes repairing driveways, parking lots, and sidewalks, as well as installing children«s and sports playgrounds, new lighting, and modern small architectural forms (street furniture).

    Since the start of the Far Eastern Yards Improvement project in 2022, more than 200 yards and small parks have been renovated in Yakutia. In 2025, the territories of 17 apartment buildings in Yakutsk and other localities were improved.
