Yakutia governor orders boiler house by September

Head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev ordered the completion of the automated boiler house «Zapad-2», which is being built in the village of Borogontsy in the Ust-Aldan district of the republic, by September. He wrote about this on July 21 on his Telegram channel.

«In the village of Borogontsy, I checked the progress of construction of the automated boiler house »Zapad-2« with a capacity of 24 MW. The readiness of the facility is 89%. After commissioning, the new boiler house will allow decommissioning four emergency boiler houses, and more than 10 kilometers of new heat networks will ensure reliable heat supply to residential buildings and social institutions,» he wrote.

According to him, thanks to the construction of the boiler house, budget savings will amount to 150 million rubles per year. The project is being implemented by the state enterprise ZhKKh (Housing and Communal Services).

This is already the second boiler house being built in the village of Borogontsy. The first was put into operation in 2022 and is called «Vostok-1». Its capacity is 18 MW with heat supply networks, water supply, and a central heating point with a capacity of 3.54 MW.
