Weather in St. Petersburg on Sunday

According to the forecast by Mikhail Leus, the chief specialist at the Phobos weather center, the city will remain on the edge of an anticyclone, whose center is located over the Middle Volga.

Atmospheric pressure will be high, reaching 765 mm Hg. The weather is expected to be cloudy with clearings, and light snow is possible in some areas.

The air temperature in St. Petersburg on January 25 during the day will be from -9 to -11°C (15.8 to 12.2°F). In the Leningrad region, it will be slightly colder: from -9 to -14°C (15.8 to 6.8°F).

For Monday, snow showers are also forecast. Overnight, thermometers will show from -2 to -4°C (28.4 to 24.8°F), and during the day around 0 to -2°C (32 to 28.4°F). The forecaster warned of possible ice.

Separately, it is noted that until 9 p.m. on January 22, a «yellow» level of weather danger is in effect in the city due to possible minor accumulation of pollutants in the air.
