Water Outage Hits Nearly 200 Homes in Voronezh
A pipe rupture has led to the suspension of cold water supply for nearly 200 homes in Voronezh.
In Voronezh, nearly two hundred homes have been left without cold water. This was reported by Voronezh1.ru citing «RVK-Voronezh».
On Barnaulskaya Street, 18, utility workers discovered damage with a diameter of 100 mm. During the repair, cold water was shut off for residents of nearby houses. The time for completion of the work has not been reported yet.
«This is a necessary measure to work with a »dry« pipeline during periods of negative temperatures. Otherwise, water will accumulate and freeze in the excavation pit,» explained the water utility.
