Residents of apartment building No. 9 on Lodygina Street in Volgograd have been without hot and cold water supply for the fourth day. According to them, organized water delivery is not being carried out, and the management company does not answer calls or hangs up. Meanwhile, the company «Concessions of Water Supply» claims that they have not suspended water supply.

The son of one of the residents reported that the water disappeared suddenly, and since then there has been no information about its return. He provided the following details:

«I»m not even talking about washing or basic hygiene — there«s nothing to flush the toilet with for four days. I have to bring water to my mother every day. The administration promises to bring water, but in the end, nothing. At the management company, the hotline doesn»t pick up for days, and when you finally get through, they say: «Why there»s no water, we don«t know, we»ll pass it on to the superiors.« And that»s it, they hang up. In such cold weather, the absence of water is an emergency. Moreover, it was cut off without warning. Fine, if they had said, we could have stocked up, but instead, for four days people have been without a drop of water suddenly.«

When trying to contact the emergency service of the management company «Zhemchuzhina» (Pearl), only beeps were heard for several minutes, and then an automated voice repeatedly announced that all operators were busy.

In «Concessions of Water Supply,» they assured that they did not cut off cold and hot water at the specified address. The question about the causes of the disruptions and the lack of water delivery has been directed to the administration of Volgograd.

Earlier in the north of the city, residents of an entire block complained about a week-long absence of cold water. They accused the authorities of inaction, claiming that due to the peculiarities of apartment building systems, this also led to the absence of hot water. All structures involved in water supply then assured that there were no accidents or shutdowns.
