Volgograd Leases Road Equipment for 824 Million Rubles
The State Budgetary Institution Volgogradavtodor has arranged a lease for road and municipal equipment for the period from 2026 to 2028. Payments will be made using subsidies for state tasks and other income-generating activities.
According to the auction documentation, the total contract value is 824,634,144.52 rubles (approximately $8.68 million at current rates). The following annual payments are planned:
- 155 million rubles in 2026;
- 335 million rubles in 2027;
- the remaining 334,634,144.52 rubles in the subsequent period.
The list of purchased equipment includes 26 dump trucks, three vehicles for municipal and road maintenance, six self-propelled machines of similar purpose, and three units for mixing minerals with bitumen. All equipment must be manufactured no later than 2025.
The warranty for most equipment will be 24 months, but for municipal vehicles and attachments the warranty period is set at 12 months. The lease is for two years, with first deliveries starting within 90 days after signing the contract. The lessor reserves the right to inspect the use of the equipment after notifying the lessee in advance.
The V1.RU editorial team sent a request to the Transport and Road Committee of Volgograd Oblast to clarify the equipment models and the name of the winning company, which turned out to be the sole participant in the procurement.
