Drivers using the Gorparkovka app for paid parking are encountering unexpected difficulties when trying to end their sessions.

A Volgograd driver encountered a malfunction in the Gorparkovka app while trying to conclude a paid parking session in the city center.
The clear benefit of paid parking is that you can find a space even in the morning right in the city center, on Krasnoznamenskaya Street,the driver stated.
The drawback is that the app operates in a peculiar way. I parked near the puppet theater, mobile internet was functioning, and applications outside the «white list» were working. Initiating the parking session was straightforward. However, when it was time to depart, troubles started.
Upon clicking the «end parking» button, the app produced an error citing no internet connection. Sending an SMS to the number provided on the informational sign also proved ineffective, as a reply indicated the operation was impossible to complete.
Ultimately, I was only able to terminate the parking at the exit from Rostovskaya Street onto Vtoraya Prodolnaya Street,the Volgograd resident recounted.
And here, it«s not even about the money — I managed to keep it under one hour and the cost of 40 rubles (around $0.50 at current rates). It»s a matter of principle; otherwise, it feels like a rigged game. Additionally, we must consider plain human oversight. Someone might press the end parking button and fail to notice it didn«t register, later facing exorbitant parking fees.
The Volgograd city administration is specifying the correct procedure for drivers in these circumstances.
