On Sunday, February 8, repair work is scheduled on the main water pipeline in the Sovetsky District of Volgograd, leading to a shutdown of cold water supply. The company Contsessii Vodosnabzheniya (Water Concession) has notified that water supply will be suspended from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., lasting approximately ten hours.
The official statement from the organization says: «For the purpose of repair work, specialists of «Contsessii Vodosnabzheniya» on the main pipeline in the Sovetsky District of the city of Volgograd will suspend water supply from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on February 8.»
Without cold water will be residents of houses at the following addresses:
  • Universitetsky Prospekt, buildings 15, 17, 19, 21, 23;
  • Sukhova Street, buildings 17, 19, 21;
  • Kazakhskaya Street, buildings 14, 16, 18, 22, 24, 26, 28, 32;
  • Novosibirskaya Street, building 66;
  • Peschanokopskaya Street, buildings 13, 15, 17.
The impact of the shutdown on hot water and heating supply in apartment buildings in this area is not specified.
