Volgograd clarifies incorrect utility bill amounts

The amounts that attentive citizens saw in their personal accounts on the website of AO IVC Housing and Communal Services and Fuel and Energy Complex are incorrect and will change. This was reported by the press service of the calculation service in response to an editorial inquiry from V1.RU.

Recall that citizens saw huge amounts of estimated charges for utility services. According to some Volgograd residents, for January they will have to pay twice as much as for December, with the main amount in the bills being heating costs for the apartment. However, the press service of the calculation center advised not to pay attention to these amounts, assuring that they are not final.

“The breakdown of charges is directly related to our program where the calculation occurs. Until the bill is generated, incorrect amounts may be displayed,” commented AO IVC Housing and Communal Services and Fuel and Energy Complex. “The official document is the bill, where the correct charge amounts will be indicated. Specifically for the case of the person who contacted you — in his bill, the amount will be just over eight thousand rubles (about $80 at current rates), but not 12 thousand rubles (about $120 at current rates). The 28th is not yet an indicator; the bill is still in the process of being formed, and amounts may be displayed incorrectly. The final amount for housing and communal services will appear when the payment document is fully formed. Until that moment, amounts can fluctuate and cause confusion among people.”
